First off, the lady at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. Now the room. There was not any bottles of shampoo or conditioner, body wash, or anything of that sort there. Just a bar of soap and some lotion. you will need to bring your own hygiene items. The towels were clean and fluffy. The toilet wobbled a bit when sat on. The hair dryer was broken. Water was hot in the shower. The bed linens were clean. Good pillows. The mattress was a little lacking in support but not enough to make my back hurt. The carpet was not good. It had a film on it like old soap or something? Not quite sticky but definitely did not feel clean on my bare feet. I guess they had it cleaned and whoever did it did not rinse it well or something. I was there to work so I didn't really spend much time in the room its self except to shower and sleep.
The price per room is great. The room itself did have a weird stale smell but it was clean. The front desk woman was very friendly! We had a great stay on our way through town.
The desk clerk was very kind and helpful, the rooms were cute, but housekeeping could have been better. The smoke alarm was literally hanging by a wire, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. The room did have cable, te microwave, and a very nice mini fridge.
Oyo hotel was very nice , comfortable, and clean . Staff was very nice and helpful for such short notice , would definitely book again . Thank you
rooms were clean, took our own blankets and cleaning lady always folded them- dont see that nowhere else. good rooms for the price, will totally recommend!!
I had an amazing experience at the Oyo Hotel’s Port Allen location off of La-1. After 17 hours of driving from southern Florida it was such a relief to be greeted warmly and have such a nice, clean, and relaxing room. During my four day stay I was helped my Betsy, Kaylee, and Vick. It was a pleasure to be greeted by Betsy every morning, and she even gave us pointers of things to do in West Baton Rouge. The location was prime as its minutes from the Mississippi River bridge. We were able to make it to Downtown Baton Rouge in 15 minutes for lunch even in traffic. Our next time in the area we will be staying at the Oyo again.
Very nice comfortable safe location rooms clean sanitized the staff and owners are very friendly nice and understanding if I had a issue it was resolved right then the housekeeper are very friendly also I would recommend anyone at this location
